The 160R2 Air Purifier is all metal construction & contains 7 lbs. of activated carbon mix. It has performed well in independent lab tests; and is used & recommended by allergists & environmental doctors nationwide.
The state of the art filter used in the 160 Series does not outgas chemicals and is rated at the highest efficiency of the industry. The unit comes ready to operate and cartridge replacement is simple.
FILTERDOWNŽ Particulate Control Filter
Foust purifiers trap particulates down to 0.5 micron - This includes virtually all dust, pollen and molds as well as a full range of smaller pollution particles.
The 160R2 uses a state of the art filter that removes particles with an efficiency of 99.738% at 0.1 Micron. This filter is unique in that it will not outgas at temperatures under 200 degrees (F). Particles removed by the filter include dust, molds, mites, viruses, and even bacteria as well as many other particles in the air.

160R2 Replacement Cartridge
The 160R2 Replacement Cartridge is an easy to use system to refresh your air purifier. Containing 7 pounds of activated carbon and particle filter, it can remove formaldehyde, mold, and many other chemicals and particles. We recommend the STD carbon mix (which is made up of 60% COCO and 40% PuraPel) and the Technostat Filter for best results.
We encourage our customers to recycle all the metal pieces of the cartridge back to our company. We pay the return shipping, and if you follow our instructions included with your replacement cartridge, you will qualify for a $15.00 rebate. (Please allow 45 days for processing.)
